Rás Luimní 2017

On Sunday 12th of March, Limerick Cycling Club will host its annual Rás Luimní cycle race, one of the longest running and most significant races on the national calendar. This event attracts the top amateur cyclists from all over the country which sets the scene for a great spectacle on the roads around the Caherconlish, Ballyneety, and Herberstown area. As host club, Limerick CC invites the public to experience the excitement and thrills of road racing in Ireland. The race headquarters once again is at The Millennium Centre Caherconlish. Ras Luimni 2014 takes place on Sunday 9th March at Caherconlish, and is open for A1/2, A3, A4. The A3 race will cater for Junior and Women.

Limerick CC Solstice Cycle

Limerick CC are celebrating the Summer Solstice on 21st June with our Solstice Ride from Limerick to Lough Gur and back. This is a BeSpoke Festival event being promoted as part of www.limericksmartertravel.ie and we at Limerick Cycling Club are delighted to be part of this, marking our favourite healthy activity. Limerick CC Classic Tour 2013

The Limerick Cycling Club Classic Tour takes place on 19th May. Its 120km long, and sign on is at the Caherconlish Millennium Centre at 8a.m. There will be plenty of grub and refreshments there afterwards.

There will be two groups departing, a 30kph group leaving at 9:00 and a 25kph group leaving at 9:10. Each group will have its own Lead Car, Back-up Van and Ambulance. Foodstops and Regrouping at the Bottom of The Glen of Aherlow and Rearcross.

Entry is €15 with a license, and €25 without. We’ll post the route map soon.
