Huge congratulations to Limerick CC’s Brian Hart who won the Mark Hayden Memorial A3 Race on a very tough circuit in Carlow this afternoon. This follows his 5th place at the Middleton Grand Prix last weekend. Brian was involved in the break of the day which formed after only 10km of racing.
The original 8 escapees became 6 after the half way point and with tired legs beginning to take their tole Brian launched an attack 2km out from the finish. Having spent 80 kms of the race in the break, the now chasing group were unable to respond and Brian crossed the line a clear winner!
